Choral Journal Mechanical Details

a. Electronic production. The Choral Journal is produced in Adobe In Design CS. All ads must be submitted electronically as a JPEG or PDF with the resolution at no less than 300 dpi. Submissions should be sent on a non-returnable CD or e-mailed to the Choral Journal staff. All submissions on CD should include the live file of the ad, all fonts, including fonts used in any graphics. Any files sent in another form will not be accepted unless they have been pre-approved by the Choral Journal staff.

b. Dimensions. Trim size: 8 3/8" x 10 7/8" (50p6 x 65p6 picas). Full page ad with bleed: 8 5/8" x 11 1/8" (52 x 67 picas). Full page ad without bleed: 7 1/4" x 10" (43p3 x 60 picas).

c. Columns. Three (3) per page. One column width, 2 1/4" (13p9 picas); two column widths, 4 3/4" (28p6 picas); three column widths, 7 1/4" (43p3 picas). Column height, 10" (60 picas).

d. Center spread. Bleed, 16 3/4" x 10 7/8" (101 x 65p6 picas). Non-bleed with 1/2" margin, 15 3/4" x 10" (95 x 60 picas).

e. Covers. Available in 4-color only. Inside front cover/Inside back cover dimensions: 8 5/8" x 11 1/8" (52 x 37 picas). Ad will bleed on all four sides. Back cover dimensions: 7 3/8" x 7 3/4" (44p6 x 47 picas). Ad will bleed on sides and bottom only.

f. Printing and binding. Cover, sheet-fed; text, web press. Saddle-stitched.

g. Paper stock. Cover, 80-lb. Ultra Web Gloss; text, 40-lb. BPG #5 Gloss.
