

Reminder to ALL High School Honor Choir students to bring their music in a BLACK FOLDER, suitable for using in performance on stage. And of course, don't forget a supply of pencils! :)
Your travel arrangements should be made by now!
Remember, to check the schedule of events (available online) for registration times,
rehearsal times, and social events.
All chaperones are required to attend the chaperone meeting on Wednesday evening.
The specific location of the chaperone meeting and exact time will be given when you register your singer(s) Wednesday afternoon.
All singers must read the concert attire guidelines CAREFULLY.
No singer will be allowed on stage without the proper attire.

Ladies:
o White dressy blouse with ¾ length sleeves or long sleeves
o Solid Black dressy skirt that goes below the knee
o Shoes must be solid black (less than a 1” heel) which are closed-toe & closed-heel.
(No high-heels, slings, sandals, mules, clogs, etc.)
o Hosiery that closely matches the natural skin tone
o A slip is preferred under the skirt, to prevent clinging
Gentlemen:
o White dress shirt Shirt tails are required to be tucked in.
o Dark color necktie (not a bowtie)
o Black or dark color jacket
o Solid black dress slacks (no jeans)
o Solid black socks
o Solid black dress shoes (no tennis shoes)

Solo auditions for Sopranos and Tenors will be held during the event. There are solo opportunities in the Handel " O Sing Unto the Lord" : Sopranos, page 8-10 (the first solo of the work) and movement 5 'O Worship the Lord' for Soprano and Tenor solo.
The Tenor solo in movement 4 'The Waves of the Sea' has been selected already, based on the audition cds. That soloist was notified and is preparing the solo. |
